Description
When I designed the Celia Skirt, I wanted to create a versatile A-line silhouette with soft pleats that drape beautifully against the body. This piece is my own personal interpretation of 1930s dress silhouettes, classic Western wear, and the sweeping volume of 1950s cotton madras skirts. By recalibrating these cross-era details into a modern, singular garment, I've developed a style that values balance, proportion, and a refined profile.
This skirt offers a breathable, all-day wear with a luxurious silky hand-feel. The design features a precisely fitted waist that anchors cleanly at the hip, giving way to an expansive full skirt that hits at the mid-to-low calf. I also added pockets for an element of daily utility. Built for effortless versatility, the Celia serves as a dependable companion to your favorite pieces. It acts as the perfect pairing for our Anita Buttondown for a sharp, polished look, or pairs easily with any organic cotton T-shirt for a more relaxed daytime presence. Designed to move with you, it is a refined staple built to hold its form through every rhythm of a busy life. Designed in Brooklyn. Produced in New York City.
