Jaiko Suzuki

Jaiko Suzuki has a diverse creative background, which includes designing her own costumes as a stripper in Tokyo and a go-go dancer in New York City. She's also a filmmaker, using Super 8 portraits for her DJ sets, and a musician who has performed as a drummer and singer. During the lockdown, she found a new artistic outlet by creating a series of images inspired by the Japanese tradition of Nukazuke, or fermented vegetables. This process served as a form of meditation, bringing her a sense of quiet joy that she hopes to share with her audience.
